Two of the strongest and most significant antioxidants in skincare, resveratrol and ferulic acid, are combined in extremely high concentrations in this composition.  Japanese knotweed provides our pure supply of resveratrol, a naturally occurring phenol that can be found in a variety of plants.  High-potency phytochemical antioxidants like ferulic acid are naturally present in plant cell walls.  Typically, 1% or less resveratrol and 0.5% or less ferulic acid are included in skincare products.  In this formula, each is present in a remarkably high quantity of 3%.
