Elidel 1% Cream 30G

A prescription medication called ELIDEL Cream, 1% is applied topically to the skin to treat mild to moderate eczema (atopic dermatitis).  Adults and children two years of age and up who do not have compromised immune systems are recommended to use 1% ELIDEL Cream.

 It is used to treat psoriasis and eczema, among other skin disorders.
 This medication reduces the allergic reaction that leads to eczema by altering the "immunosuppressants" of the skin's defense (immune) system.  Pimecrolimus is a member of the group of medications called topical calcineurin inhibitors.
