One medication used to treat diarrhea is called Hidrasec.  For infants , Hidrasec is used to treat the symptoms of acute diarrhea.  When the typical dietary measures and a large fluid intake are insufficient to manage the diarrhea and when the diarrhea cannot be treated causally, it should be taken in conjunction with these measures.
