Verrumal Solution For Wart Removal is used to treat flat warts on the hands and feet as well as common warts, which are warts under the soles of the feet where pressure is applied.  Among the active constituents are salicylic acid and fluorouracil, which are keratolytic and anti-wart agents.  Warts are caused by skin viruses.  Salicylic acid, a medication that softens the epidermis, and fluorouracil, which inhibits the growth of warts.  The wart virus-containing skin cells peel as a result of the salicylic acid's gradual and painless absorption into the skin.  IMPORTANT: Do not apply to healthy, normal skin; instead, apply to the wart or cones.
