This medicine is used to treat nasal passageways, or dryness within the nose. Thick or crusty mucus is dissolved and softened by adding moisture inside the nose. With the use of this product, mucus in babies and young children with stuffy noses who are unable to blow their noses can be more easily removed using a nasal bulb syringe. Breathing becomes easier and stuffiness is reduced.
