Topical therapy for mouth ulcers and lip sores.  It contains carbenoxolone sodium, which aids in the healing of oral lesions that cause ulcers.  Carbenoxolone sodium has a steroidal structure and has been shown to have steroid-like properties in terms of mineralocorticoid and anti-inflammatory effects.  Lip sores, mouth ulcers, and orofacial lesions brought on by viral infections can all be treated with this gel.
